Product description
The Alpha-N Carbon Vented Hood — Clubsport is designed to fit the BMW M2 G87 2023+ and the BMW 2-Series G42 2021+, and is available in Australia through SL Autowerkes. Developed and manufactured in Germany by Alpha-N Performance, a brand with deep roots in BMW motorsport, this carbon hood delivers aggressive CSL-inspired styling while improving airflow and thermal management in the engine bay.
The Clubsport version of Alpha-N's vented hood builds on their standard carbon hood by integrating additional cooling vents positioned on either side of the power dome. These Clubsport-specific side vents (AN-0331 + AN-0332) are always included and increase heat extraction from the engine compartment while emphasising the motorsport character of the G87 M2. The central front vent spans the width of the radiator area to allow hot air to escape efficiently from the engine bay — when paired with Alpha-N carbon grille upgrades, the system further improves cooling efficiency during aggressive driving and track use.
Each hood is constructed using pre-preg 2x2 twill carbon fibre sourced from Italy with a reinforced carbon-Kevlar internal structure for maximum rigidity at minimum weight — approximately 19lbs in total, a meaningful reduction over the factory steel hood. The hood is available with or without the optional carbon front vent insert (AN-0302). Note: this hood ships in raw carbon fibre and requires professional paint preparation or clear coating prior to installation; the carbon vent insert and Clubsport vents are installed after paint during final assembly.
This is a genuine Alpha-N part, covered by Alpha-N's manufacturer warranty, with local support from us in Adelaide.
