The Alpha-N Carbon Fixed Rear Wing — Class 3 is designed to fit the BMW M2 G87 2023+ and the BMW 2-Series G42 2021+, and is available in Australia through SL Autowerkes. Developed and manufactured in Germany by Alpha-N Performance, a brand with deep roots in BMW motorsport, this rear wing draws inspiration from the legendary E36 M3 GT while adapting its design to complement the aggressive body lines of the latest M2.
The aerodynamic profile is engineered to increase rear downforce with minimal drag, improving stability at higher speeds while giving the G87 a purposeful motorsport appearance. Alpha-N recommends pairing the rear wing with a compatible front aerodynamic component to maintain proper front-to-rear aerodynamic balance.
Each wing is constructed using pre-preg 2x2 twill carbon fibre sourced from Italy. Unlike cosmetic carbon components that use heavy resin layers or filler materials, Alpha-N parts are engineered for strength and minimal weight, closely reflecting motorsport manufacturing standards. The wing integrates with the factory trunk lid and is installed using a combination of adhesive bonding and mechanical fasteners for a secure mount. Note: this component is supplied in raw carbon fibre and requires professional paint preparation or clear coating prior to installation.
