Product description
The ARD prepreg race front lip is the front half of ADRO's race aero for the G87 M2. It's designed to balance the rear diffuser and wing, so it's the starting point if you plan to build a full ARD setup. It fits the factory front bumper. We confirm facelift details before ordering.

What is ARD?
ARD is ADRO Racing Division, the company's motorsport engineering arm, aimed at cars that spend real time on track. ARD develops its parts the way race teams do: CFD simulation first, then track testing before release. ADRO's head of aerodynamics, Scott, comes from a Formula 1 development background and leads ARD's work. The G87 M2 ARD Aero Package is one of the first complete systems from ARD.
The Front Splitter
This isn't about adding a flat panel to the front end. It's about initiating a complete aerodynamic strategy, one that starts at the nose and has to be managed all the way to the rear diffuser. Every element of the splitter assembly is CFD-developed to generate, direct, and sustain the vortex structures that the rest of the ARD system depends on.
How It Works
The upper vanes shape the air over the outer splitter and feed the vortices in the endplate tunnels underneath. The lower strakes stop air spilling off the sides of the splitter, so more of it does useful work. The F1-inspired endplates initiate strategic vortex generation down the car's sides, working with the sideskirts to extract more air and drive more flow under the front end.
The raised central splitter section feeds the six mid-floor undervanes and delivers clean flow to the rear diffuser while dramatically reducing pitch sensitivity. Every element is CFD-developed to work as an integrated system. This is where balanced aerodynamic development begins for these types of cars: maximize the front, then set the balance with the rear wing.
As part of the complete ARD Aero Package, the system generates 2555N (574 lbs) of downforce at 180 km/h, a 1254% increase over the M2's stock 189N, with a gain of +2366N (532 lbs).
Material
All ARD parts are made in prepreg carbon fibre. Prepreg carbon comes with the resin already impregnated into the fibre in controlled conditions, so the resin is spread evenly through the whole part. That makes the panel lighter and stiffer, without weak or resin-heavy patches that could delaminate under sustained load.
On track, that's about more than looks. A splitter that bends under load won't make the downforce it was designed for. Prepreg removes that problem. The part delivers what the CFD predicted, lap after lap, even when hot and under sustained load.
