The Alpha-N Carbon CSL Trunk Lid / Boot is engineered specifically for the BMW M2 G87 2023+ and 2 Series G42 2021+, and is available in Australia through SL Autowerkes. Developed and manufactured in Germany by Alpha-N Performance, a brand with deep roots in BMW motorsport, this carbon fibre trunk lid takes direct inspiration from BMW's legendary CSL design language.
The integrated ducktail profile enhances the rear appearance of the vehicle while contributing to improved aerodynamic balance. The sculpted ducktail spoiler generates additional rear downforce at speed, eliminating the need for a separate trunk-mounted spoiler and creating a purposeful motorsport aesthetic.
Constructed entirely from pre-preg carbon fibre using a 2x2 twill weave pattern, sourced from Italy and produced in an autoclave, this trunk lid reduces rear mass significantly compared to the factory steel panel — improving overall balance and chassis response during spirited driving and track use. Each trunk lid installs using the factory mounting locations with all original BMW hardware transferred across, ensuring OEM-level fitment and structural integrity.
Each lid is supplied in a raw carbon finish and requires professional paint preparation or clear coat prior to installation. Alpha-N components contain no cosmetic fillers or heavy resin layers — just pure pre-preg carbon construction for maximum rigidity at minimal weight.
