The Alpha-N Carbon Vented Bonnet / Hood is engineered specifically for the BMW M3 G80 and G81 Touring 2021+, and the BMW M4 G82 Coupe and G83 Convertible 2021+, and is available in Australia through SL Autowerkes. Developed and manufactured in Germany by Alpha-N Performance, a brand with deep roots in BMW motorsport, this carbon fibre bonnet is built for drivers who demand both function and form.
Constructed entirely from pre-preg carbon fibre sourced from Italy, it delivers a significant weight reduction of approximately 40% over the factory aluminium hood, helping improve front axle balance, steering response, and overall chassis dynamics. The fully functional integrated vent layout is strategically positioned to evacuate hot air from the engine bay, reducing heat soak and improving airflow through the front cooling system during spirited driving and track use.
Unlike fibreglass-backed or resin-heavy alternatives, Alpha-N components are engineered without body filler or excess material. Each bonnet is supplied in a raw carbon finish and requires professional paint preparation or clear coat prior to installation. An optional clear coat may reveal the natural surface texture inherent to ultra-lightweight pre-preg carbon construction.
This is a genuine Alpha-N part, covered by Alpha-N's manufacturer warranty, with local support from us in Adelaide.
