The Alpha-N Carbon Vented Bonnet / Hood is engineered specifically for the BMW M2 G87 2023+ and the BMW 2 Series G42 2021+, and is available in Australia through SL Autowerkes. Developed and manufactured in Germany by Alpha-N Performance, a brand with deep roots in BMW motorsport, this carbon fibre bonnet is built for drivers who demand both function and form.
Constructed entirely from pre-preg carbon fibre sourced from Italy, it delivers a significant weight reduction over the factory steel panel, helping improve front axle balance and overall chassis response. The full-width extraction vent is positioned directly above the radiator, allowing hot air to escape efficiently from the engine bay — reducing heat soak and improving airflow through the front cooling system during spirited driving and track use.
Unlike fibreglass-backed alternatives, Alpha-N components contain no cosmetic fillers or heavy resin layers. Each bonnet is supplied in a raw carbon finish and requires professional paint preparation or clear coat prior to installation. An optional carbon front vent insert is available as a variant for those looking to complete the look.
